Lamella Façade

Lamella Façade

The façade of the curtain wall is the exterior covering of the building, which consists of the juxtaposition of aluminum and glass profiles in the form of a lattice. This panel never carries a dead load from the building. The only force that is applied to it is its weight and the wind force that will be applied to it, taking into account the climatic position and the height of the building. The aluminum profiles on which the glass is mounted are called lamellas. With the help of designed channels, water transfer out of the panel is easily possible.  In this panel, the sealing is at a maximum and the installation and commissioning problems have been eliminated. Using light and sun energy in buildings is one of the most basic ways to use energy optimally in architecture. In addition to the issue of using the heat and energy of the sun, the issue of beautifying the glass in the facade is also important, and as we approach the architecture of modern buildings, the attractiveness of the glass in the facade also becomes important. lamella facade is one of the most beautiful facades that has unique conditions and features due to the use of glass and aluminum in it. However, this type of facade is made entirely industrially and its installation conditions are such that it has special flexibility in the face of stresses caused by earthquakes and possible leaks in emergencies and is designed and executed entirely in aluminum. In this panel, because the cross-section of the aluminum profile is large and has a high resistance, there is no need for networking to build the facade. The profile can be adjusted by a billet with bean screws installed in it and attached to the building.

The main advantages of the façade are as follows:

  • Installing as a concealer element
  • Proper sealing with EPDM tires
  • Proper prediction of expansion and contraction of profiles
  • Conducting water from the perspiration of glass by special channels from horizontal lamellae to vertical lamellae and then leaving the facade by a drain
  • Complete moisture, heat, and sound insulation
  • Optimization in light transmission and ambient temperature
  • Reducing energy consumption
  • The lightness of structure and reduction of dead load of the building
  • Easy to apply
  • Beautiful element for both day and night
